Okay, I need to know... Are designer jeans really worth it? Are they really THAT much more comfortable, better fitting, etc? Whether your answer is "yes" or "no", please tell! And which brand of jeans is your favorite?
I may have a super-employee-discounted-yet-heavily-guilt-inducing pair of denim on the line (yes, that prompted my last entry)... Right now, they are inching their way toward my go-back pile.
haha you know my answer. YES. they're softer, more comfortable, don't stretch out as much. for every day wear, i like sevens, joes and citizens. for fancier, i like joes and paiges.
ReplyDeleteMy opinion is yes and no... but you know me, I'd wear sweats and crocs to everything if it weren't so frowned upon... mostly by you. Haha!
ReplyDeleteMy current favorite pair of jeans cost me less than $20 at Buffalo Exchange, and I didn't know they were an expensive brand until I brought them home and Janet told me. I can feel that they're comfy and good quality, though.
I think good jeans are great to have, but if you search, you can find them for cheap.
i agree with sam. get them on sale, a lot of places like nordstrom rack and sometimes even marshalls has them on clearance
ReplyDeleteI used to be a believer in designer denim - and don't get me wrong I still love my Joes and Citizens - but I realized that GAP jeans fit really well, if not better than some of my designers! I say, if they fit like a glove, it's worth the money, regardless of the brand. :)
ReplyDeletei went back to the Rack the other day and found Rock & Republic jeans. they were on mega clearance. they definitely fit me better than the sevens and citizens and any other jeans that i own or have tried and thus couldn't resist not getting them. *gulp* i can't believe i'm spending so much on jeans! but i do say, in the end...i gave the lower tier jeans a good effort and haven't found any that fit as well. that's my justification. :)
